Announcement the winner of the competition

On July 22 at 16:45, following the results of the Jury meeting in the Great Hall of the Government of the Astrakhan Region, a press approach will be held, dedicated to the announcement of the results and the winner of the Open International Competition for the development of a master plan for the Astrakhan agglomeration.

Invited to participate in the press approach:

• Igor Babushkin, Governor of the Astrakhan Region, Chairman of the Jury;

• Alexander Lomakin, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation;

• Evgenia Murinets, member of the Expert Council of the Ministry of Construction on the formation of a comfortable urban environment, member of the Expert Council of the ASI, advisor to the Governor of the Astrakhan Region;

• Mikhail Bogomolov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Astrakhan Region.

The Jury of the competition included representatives of authorities, development institutions, experts in the field of architecture, urban planning, integrated development of territories, cultural heritage, as well as economics and spatial planning, marketing and communications, technology and innovation. As part of the jury meeting, they will choose the most modern and suitable master plan, according to which the further development of the Astrakhan agglomeration will be built.

The competition became part of a comprehensive work started by the region on the personal instructions of the Governor of the Astrakhan Region Igor Babushkin. The work was carried out by the Agency for Strategic Development "CENTER" with the support of the Government of the Astrakhan Region, the Administration of the city of Astrakhan and with the participation of leading federal and local experts.
